Linear Technology’s broadband dual/double balance passive mixer for microwave transceivers, point-to-point radios, and test and measurement applications

Linear Technology’s LTC5552 is a double balance wideband passive microwave mixer for 3 GHz to 20 GHz frequency range. This mixer also has a differential DC to 6 GHz intermediate frequency (IF) port. The mixer and integrated RF balun are optimized to cover the 3 GHz to 20 GHz RF frequency range. The integrated LO amplifier is optimized for the 1 GHz to 20 GHz frequency range, requiring only 0 dBm drive. The part delivers high IIP3 and P1dB, low LO leakage, and high integration in a small QFN (3 mm x 2 mm) package. The LTC5552 was designed for microwave transceivers, point-to-point radios, and test and measurement applications.
